The McIntyre 500 Diesel Alligator Shear has all the features of the electric model with the advantage of being completely mobile without the need to plug into a socket. 500 Diesel Shear Three Phase The 500 Diesel shear has all the features of the electric model with the advantage of being completely mobile without the need to plug into a socket.

The 500HD has a 20” blade, the blade has 4 working surfaces giving you 4 blade changes in one piece.

It also has the addition of a hydraulic hold down which will clamp the part being cut to prevent the material kicking up. The hold down arm can also be turned off easily, turning it back to a standard shear when more awkward pieces need to be cut. This makes it one of the most versatile shears in the range. The 120 ton shear force will make for easy cutting of most materials in the nonferrous department.

The 500HD comes with wheels as standard or can be floor mounted, it also has forklift pockets for easy handling. It is a 3 phase machine that is available in 220v or 480v 60Hz.

As with all of the McIntyre alligator shears, the stroke length is easily adjustable, reducing the height the blade travels and increasing the number of cuts per minute.
